Department of Mathematics

In 1956,the Department of Mathematics was established. The present spacious premises at Thakurpukur, Kolkata -700063 was founded for the Vivekananda College in 1959.The Department of Mathematics of Vivekananda College, Thakurpukur is one amongst the oldest and prominent department of mathematics of colleges under University of Calcutta. The department offers course for undergraduate degree in mathematics honours.
